Join us for an Earth Day educational event at the Chuckanut Center at Fairhaven Park!
Kidz and Bugs
APRIL 22
12 noon to 1 pm
Bring your kids to learn about how to attract helpful insects to our gardens!
Together we will talk about pollinating insects (like bees) and the ways we can help create habitat by planting the right things in our gardens.
· What plants can act as food for these insects?
· How do we build them homes?
· Who are the good guys who eat pests in my garden and how can I tell the difference?
· How can I learn to help Nature take care of our gardens?
Open donation. All Ages welcome.
Class will be held outdoors under cover, dress accordingly.
