Event Description

Farming in the Garden State is Tough. It's even tougher without a tractor.
In New Jersey, farmland is more expensive that anywhere else. It's not an easy place to try to start a career as a farmer. But for a new generation of farmers inspired by sustainability, everything seems possible. Even a farm powered by draft horses.
Join Transition Whatcom for the film showing followed by a discussion about sustainable farming in Whatcom county- the challenges and rewards. A portion of your ticket purchase will benefit Transition Whatcom.
Ticket Prices- Adults $9, Members $6, Students $6.50
Note: Transition Whatcom Volunteers can receive a movie pass to TW sponsored films. Check out the TW Volunteer group: http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/group/tw-outreach-volunteers for details.
