Dirt Fest 2019

Come celebrate school gardens with Common Threads at our 5th annual Dirt Fest on Wednesday, April 24th. This year, join us for a community-wide garden party at Carl Cozier Elementary 2:30 – 4:30pm. All are welcome to this FREE community event!

We hope to see you at Dirt Fest!

Common Threads is a local nonprofit that connects kids to healthy food. Providing gardening and cooking lessons for close to 7,000 students in 21 schools across Whatcom County, Common Threads promotes a seed-to-table approach to food production, good nutrition, and environmental stewardship. Most of Common Threads’ programs take place on public school grounds, during the school day in collaboration with classroom teachers and food service staff. Additionally, Common Threads offers gardening and cooking programs after school and over Spring and Summer breaks. More info at www.commonthreadsfarm.org
