Ah so sorry I missed out on the fun in the Roosevelt garden! One of our garden-homes was hit hard by the big wind storm last week, and I also had unexpeceted virus/bacteria visitors in the chest & sinus!
I'll be sure to swing by to take a look at the progress.
I would love to hear how the day went, what was accomplished, and what the next step is.

I think Roosevelt School may be part of the Barkley & Alabama Hill neighborhood.
The watershed location is possibly within the Whatcom Creek, or if not there, then the Squalicum Creek watershed.
Address 2900 Yew St. . The walk-bicycle Railroad Trail goes past the school between Woburn & Barkley Village
(Vehicle access by Alabama St, turn north onto Yew St. and follow to the end & school lot.)

That same morning there will be volunteers doing streamside restoration work within the schools Whatcom Creek watershed, with Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association...(see events for more info)
Great so many people outside working together with the earth!

Deanna, is there still a need to have volunteers with trucks deliver compost? Will the compost come from our local Smit's Dairy? They have great stuff!
I encourage you to also post this event, both on the TW group "Organic Gardeners.." site, and also with Shannon's E-News. There are lots of us gardeners that will come together and help out! I'll also check my calendar...lets connect by phone or email!
