Event Description

CHUCKANUT CENTER : ON-SITE OUT DOOR CLASS

Bokashi : Fermented Compost class
THIS Sat, May 7, 1:00pm – 2:30pm
with Nicole Styles

Bokashi means "fermented organic matter" in Japanese.
This composting method is great for those lacking the space for a traditional compost set-up because it is done right in your kitchen with a five gallon bucket.

The process is complete, ready to add nutrients to the soil, in one month!

We will learn how to use the Bokashi system from in your kitchen, to creating your own starter, to how to add the rich microbial finished product to your garden, planters, or existing compost bin.

Donations to support the Center and Teacher appreciated
