Event Description
An introduction to emerging conditions driving the need for Transition—peak oil, global warming and climate change, and economic instability—and an exploration of why we need to create enhanced resilience in our local economy and civic culture, so we can meet more of needs for food, shelter, transportation, and community life locally.

Directions southbound I-5:
Take the Bakerview exit 258. Go east on Bakerview to Cordata Parkway. Turn left on Cordata, follow roundabout and turn left to Westerly.
Alternative route: From Bakerview, turn north on Eliza Ave to Westerly. Turn right on Westerly to the store.
Directions northbound I-5:
Take the Guide Meridian exit 256. Go north on the Guide to Bakerview. Turn left on Bakerview to Cordata Parkway. Turn right on Cordata, follow roundabout and turn left to Westerly.

Bless you, David. What a breath of fresh air to see this posted! I have the TWOG meeting that night so I won't come but I really wish I could make it. I have been seeing the need and rather struggling with how to proceed with post-Unleashing orientation.
I am interested in a) how this goes, who comes, and what info is presented b) whether there's interest in an ongoing event like this (monthly? quarterly?) and c) how I can fit in, help, and maybe encourage some more volunteers.
