Join andra vltavín as they discuss the process of adopting a landscape from local transit authorities, getting restoration permits, and how to get local volunteers involved in the project.
It turns out, local transit authorities "own" a lot of the land that used to be held in commons--adopting these landscapes is a good start toward restoring these community spaces and local environments!
This is a case study in wild tending, #permaculture, social forestry, and collaborating with existing government authorities.
This may be most applicable to people located in the United States and Canada, but others may learn and feel inspired from the discussion as well.
There will be time for questions and answers.
A recording of the talk will be posted after the event.
This event is hosted by the Design School for Regenerating Earth, on the Mighty Networks platform.
